Vortex Listserv

Many people around the world use the VORTEX population viability analysis modeling software to help guide conservation assessment and wildlife management. Although the manual provides background material and an explanation of data entry, technical details and discussion of how to interpret results are not readily available. To help VORTEX Users in their use of VORTEX for PVA, a VORTEX Users email discussion group (listserv) was established.

The VORTEX Listserv facilitates the exchange of ideas, questions, answers, and suggestions among the many users of the VORTEX population modeling program. Also, the listserv will provide another medium for announcing updates, bug fixes, and suggestions from the CBSG or the developer of VORTEX.

To sign up for the VORTEX Listserv, go to the web site: https://lists.uchicago.edu/web/info/vortex

The list is unmoderated and open to anyone who wishes to participate. The list administrator will have the power to permanently block from the list any subscribers who send offensive messages, extraneous messages that would obviously be of no interest to VORTEX users, or advertisements for products (other than perhaps VORTEX add-ons and upgrades).
